Danke für die Stellungnahme. Trotzdem schade, dass ich nicht nominiert wurde. Zu bemerken ist, dass zwei der Nominierten in der Kategorie Leben (die Spannendste, eigentlich) auf französisch sind und der dritte von einem Deutschen. Schade, aber wirklich.

Guter Einwand. Ich habe das Ganze so versucht zu lösen: Blogs, die ich zwar sehr gut finde, wo aber offensichtlich eine sehr enge Verflechtung besteht, habe ich nicht vorgeschlagen.

Und bei Bildung werde ich auf jeden Fall in den Ausstand treten, da hier eine sehr enge persönliche Beziehung zu einer der beteiligten Blogautorinnen besteht.

Bei den anderen Kategorien kenne ich natürlich auch die Blogs die von Kaywa betrieben werden, und meistens auch die Personen, hoffe aber doch bei der Auswahl genug objektiv gewesen zu sein.

Da der Rest der Jury und natürlich alle Leser dieses Blogs mitlesen, bin ich interessiert, wie das andere sehen. Sie habens also in der Hand, dass ich mich - je nach Kommentaren - gerne aus der Endrunde heraushalte.

Es sind recht interessant Blogs nonimiert, aber ganz schlüssig wird man aus eurem Konzept nicht.

Im Bereich Fachthemen hat es 6 Blogs, bei Politik 5, bei Bildung, Kultur und Leben nur 4. Warum? Gab es in diesen Kategorien nichts mehr Interessantes. Und ist ein reiner Businessblog wie Namcis ein fachthemen Blog? Dass französischsprachige Blogs dabei sind finde ich gut, bei jeweils 6 Blog hätte man es aber schön gerecht aufteilen können. Nur die Tessiner haben das Nachsehen. Bloggen die nicht?

Auch vermisst man noch die Kriterien, nach welchen nun die nominierten Blog bewertet werden. Dies wurde auch bereits von anderen Kommentatoren angemerkt. Leider scheint mir deshalb das ganze Konzept etwas unausgereift. Ist schade, denn dadurch hätte es auch in der Schweiz mal eine wirkliche Aufwertung von Blogs geben können.

Zur Anzahl Nominierungen: Wir hatten uns selbst als Richtgrösse vier bis fünf pro Kategorie gesetzt. Einmal sind es nun halt sechs. Wieso sollte man sich da ohne Not eine strikte Regel auferlegen?

Zu den Kriterien. Die Jury hat an ihrer Sitzung im Januar diese Kriterien festgelegt:

Critères pour le choix des nominés
- Qualité de l’information
- Qualité de la langue
- Originalité
- Dynamique du blog
- Impact du blog
- Aspect multimédia

Diese Liste könnte mehr Fragen aufwerfen als sie beantwortet, etwa weil kein einziger Aspekt scharf definierbar ist. "Impact" zum Beispiel ist schwer zu messen. Man kann Kommentare und Trackbacks zählen, aber das kann auch ein Zirkel von Freunden sein, der sich gegenseitig verlinkt. Oder "Multimedia", abgesehen davon, dass das schon lange ein Unwort ist: Ist das ein Muss-Kriterium? Sicher nicht. Ist es eine eigene Kategorie? Auch nicht. Führt es zur Aufwertung, wenn jemand multimediale Elemente in seinem Blog verwendet? Ja. Kann man aber auch ohne diese gewinnen? Natürlich. Und so weiter.

Ich habe bei mittlerweile rund einem Dutzend Jurierungen in verschiedenen Wettbewerben die Erfahrung gemacht, dass starre Kriterienlisten die Sache eher erschweren als vereinfachen (Ausnahme ist eine Vorjurierungsphase, wo man formalisieren muss, wenn man es dezentral macht.) Nicht selten ist sich die Jury erstaunlich einig in ihrer Beurteilung der Kandidaten, auch wenn -- oder eben weil? -- es kein klares Raster gibt, das via Excel-Sheet und "=Mittelwert(Noten)"-Formel unten den Sieger ausgibt.

Nur weil nicht alles im Detail öffentlich dokumentiert ist, heisst es nicht, dass wir uns keine Gedanken gemacht haben. Damit will ich aber auch nicht sagen, dass es nicht besser gewesen wäre, ausführlicher zu dokumentieren. Bei "Best of Swiss Web" zum Beispiel versucht man nach Kritik in den ersten Jahren inzwischen recht erfolgreich, den ganzen Prozess bis ins Kleinste nachvollziehbar darzustellen. Nur: Warum dann ganz am Ende die Jury A den Kandidaten X besser fand als Y, ist sowieso schwer zu dokumentieren.
