Eine der Eigenarten der Blogwelt ist es, dass man sich die Informationen an ziemlich vielen Orten vertreut zusammen suchen muss.
So schrieb ich zweimal, dass es Zufall war, dass wir -- an unserer Sitzung vom 26. Januar; genau, das war die eine, bei der wir vorher nicht gegoogelt hatten -- unseren Jurytag just auf denselben Tag legten, für den die Kollegen von den Swiss Blog Awards schon ihre Awardnight angekündigt hatten. Natürlich gab es nun einen Kommentator, der andeutete, das sei Absicht gewesen. (Wobei ich annehme, dass er meine Bemerkungen nicht gelesen hat, eben weil immer alles so verstreut ist.) Wieso sollte das Absicht gewesen sein? Wir konnten dann einfach nicht mehr nach hinten schieben, weil der Preisverleihungstermin im Rahmen der Orbit-iEX gesetzt war und man die Nominierten schon ein paar Tage vorher einladen sollte. Und wenn wir nach vorn geschoben hätten, hätte sicher gleich jeder gesagt, das machen wir absichtlich, damit wir eher sind als die anderen. Oder etwa nicht?
Drei weitere Gründe, warum die Kollision sicher keine Absicht war, fallen mir ohne viel Nachdenken ein:

- Wenn es zwei Events gleichzeitig gibt, kann man nicht an beiden sein. Roger Fischer musste leider bei uns um 15 Uhr gehen, um rechtzeitig um 17 Uhr in Biel auf dem Panel zu sitzen, und ich wäre auch gern nach Biel gefahren, was nicht möglich war.
- Für Externe -- Private wie Medien -- war es sowieso nicht leicht, die beiden Wettbewerbe zu unterscheiden. Wir haben mehrere Anfragen bekommen, die eigentlich an die Swiss Blog Awards gelangen wollten. (Das lag wohl auch daran, dass wir die SBAW bei uns so prominent und unkommentiert in der rechten Spalte verlinkt haben.)
- Nachdem man beschlossen hatte, gegenseitig aufeinander zu verweisen, hätte auch das mehr Sinn ergeben, wenn alles etwas entzerrt gewesen wäre. So konnten beide Seiten nur sagen: Ach ja, die anderen sind auch gerade fertig.
